Memento Mori is the companion piece to Alas. Where Alas opens with a Shakespearean joke about fiat, Memento Mori closes with the older instruction: remember that you must die. MrHansel applies it to money. The Dollar collage here is in the process of coming apart. The skull is not a decoration. It is the conclusion. Both works are giclees from 2026 originals, printed to the same archival specification, framed in the same conservation glass. They are meant to be hung together, skulls facing each other. Owning one without the other is possible. It is just the wrong decision. MrHansel has been one of the most consistent voices working at the intersection of Bitcoin culture and fine art practice. These two prints are the clearest statement of that project he has made so far.
