Curatorial Commentary

LIST is word 1044 of the BIP-39 mnemonic wordlist. It is also one of the most quietly loaded words in the series. A list is an act of ordering. It is how you take a set of things and assert a sequence, a priority, a structure. The fact that one of 2048 cryptographically necessary words is simply LIST says something about the protocol that ZETRA has been drawing out piece by piece. The V1 designation matters here. ZETRA is building a body of work in versions, acknowledging that the series is iterative, that meaning accumulates across editions. LIST V1 on Alu Dibond under acrylic glass is the first physical instantiation of this word. It will not be the last. Three editions.
