We find ourselves moments before impact. A burning Bitcoin meteor cuts through the sky as the bankstersaur counts what he still believes holds value. His watch reads five minutes to midnight. Time is nearly up. Set in a lush, overgrown environment, the scene contrasts apparent prosperity with inevitability — the system still appears alive, yet its trajectory has already been set. The Bitcoin meteor cannot be stopped. This print is #7/15 from the Full Image Edition. Additional prints from the edition are available on my website.

Curatorial Commentary

Cypherpunk Now is a master print maker often using a fusion of classical engraving language, screenprint craft, and digital-era symbolism. In this work, the falling Bitcoin meteor and doomed “Bankstersaur”, framing the transition from fiat spectacle to bitcoin. Cypherpunk Now is a true OG having been a participant at almost every Bitcoin Conference event including a live screen-printing activation at Bitcoin Amsterdam last year.
