Polar Bear 2026: The Great Reset

This work explores the idea of humans becoming consumption, rendered through a dense field of memetic symbolism. Shoggoth-like AI entities disguised in smiling masks emerge alongside the looming presence of “Polar Bear 2026,” descending upon a scene of Pepe and Wojak figures nestled comfortably in their “Taco Tuesday” existence. The piece suggests that those most at ease and those lulled into comfort are the most vulnerable to the current disruptions. A Skibidi-style cameraman documents the spectacle, collapsing observer and participant into a single loop of consumption and entertainment. In the foreground, a figure suspended in a glass of red wine sits beside a bowl of brains, reinforcing the motif of consumption.
