Sleeping Wotan

Wotan rests on his Bitcoin throne, overseeing the Cosmos and layered worlds of digital information... The likeness of Odin is based on a 1900 Marble Statue by German artist Rudolph Maison, the original statue was destroyed in WWII. Wotan is the Germanic name for the high Norse God Odin; he is God of Gods in Norse Legends. He is ruler of all domains and dimensions, particularly the underworld and realm of spirits. He is associated with Ecstasy, Magic, and War, he is the protector of heroes and slain warriors. 'Sleeping Wotan' on his Bitcoin throne symbolizes the weight and gravity of our journey to Bitcoin adoption, the many battles, small and large that are fought to maintain the integrity of the Bitcoin Network. Also symbolic of the road of tribulations, or spiritual path of the individual Bitcoiner. Sleeping Wotan' is hand drawn with Micron pigment and intricately gilded with Faux Gold Leaf foil. There is embellishment with Gold and Pearlescent paint. 'Sleeping Wotan' is framed in a free-standing Tabernacle, an extraordinary custom, hand crafted by Lucien Frames. Cedarwood with oak trim and birch plywood on top and bottom. There is a 22K gold inner lip, gold paint trim, and fluted gold painted center columns. Rubbed and polished by hand to show light distressing, red underlayer and shine. The Frame has hidden pastiglia embellishment. The Wording WOTAN in Runes font is along the top of the tabernacle. Furthermore, the frame is anchored in its corners by four main emblems of Odin. These are: Odins two Ravens and Spear, the mythical Eight legged Horse, the Viking Compass, and the Valknut (three interlocking triangles) - each triangle Represents: a. Life, b. Death, and c. The Afterlife ... The Piece is housed in a custom Wooden Crate with a steel handle for transport. Crate dimensions = 30 x 25 x 7 Inches, Weight = 35 Lbs.
