We are all Satoshi

Since the early days of Bitcoin, the aphorism “We are all Satoshi” has been shared and repeated. Behind this phrase lies the idea that because Satoshi remains anonymous, the project itself matters more than the individual. The idea stands on its own - continuing to live and evolve, even if Satoshi no longer exists. During a protest movement in Turkey, someone appeared dressed in a Pikachu costume and was chased by security forces. That image sparked the inspiration for this work. Bitcoin represents one radical, and to some even absurd-sounding, idea: the separation of money and state - an idea that many powerful institutions find threatening. But it’s also an idea that invites participation from everyone, challenging the godlike status of centralized control and money creation, and pushing it off its throne.
