SPACE JUMP
This minidiorama captures a 3-on-3 street basketball match between the OG Memes Team—Pepe, Dickbutt, and Yao Ming—and the Begu Team, inside a fenced urban court. The game is more than just basketball; it’s a metaphor for the collision of internet culture, legendary memes, and the cryptoart ecosystem, all packed into one high-energy urban space. The cryptoart vibe shows up through symbolic details like Bitcoin, Scarce City, Fake Rare Directory, and iconic items such as Pepe Flyers sneakers, referencing the early days of blockchain-based digital art. These elements act as visual timestamps—an archive of internet culture that evolved from jokes and communities into assets and shared identities.Graffiti-covered walls, worn textures, and creeping plants frame the court as an alternative public space where subcultures grow and mutate. By using a miniature scale, this work compresses the vast, fluid digital world into an intimate physical scene, inviting viewers to watch memes, art, and technology collide, compete, and play in the same arena. This piece is both a celebration and a reflection on cryptoart as a culture—where humor, internet history, and value mix into a game that looks light, but hits deep.

Ndhoz dotule built a miniature basketball court. Hand-sculpted clay figures, metal wire fencing, acrylic paint, the whole thing contained in a 36 by 46 centimeter diorama. The teams on the court are not arbitrary: Pepe, Dickbutt, and Yao Ming on one side, representing the founding meme canon; the Begu Team on the other. The match is happening inside a space filled with visual references to the early cryptoart ecosystem — Bitcoin, Scarce City, Fake Rare Directory, Pepe Flyers sneakers. The diorama is a timestamp. It records a specific moment in internet culture the way a diorama in a natural history museum records a specific moment in natural history: with total seriousness, with craft, with the implicit argument that this moment is worth preserving. SPACE JUMP sits alongside MAXITOSHI in the Bitcoin Vegas 26 collection as the second piece by Ndhoz dotule. The two works are very different formally, but they share the same instinct: that the things internet culture has made deserve the treatment that serious object-making gives them.
Materials : clay (hand-sculpted figures), acrylic paint, miniature metal wire (fencing), plastic components, resin elements, mixed media base, natural dried moss, and found objects. Technique : Hand-built diorama using clay sculpting and mixed media assembly. Each character is individually sculpted by hand, then painted with acrylic detailing. The environment is constructed through layered miniature fabrication, combining physical textures and urban elements to create a dense narrative scene.
